Indicator used to reflect debit or credit transaction.

Mandatory for MC data rate 3 and MC corp large ticket Amex purchase card level 2- space.

The text description of the individual item purchased (for MasterCard only, if description is more than 26 characters, description can be continued on Item Description Part B). Blank filled if not used.

Discount applied to the item (Visa Level 3) Must not be all zeros if a Discount exists, and the last two digits are implied decimal places. Otherwise must be all zeros.

Indicator used to reflect item discount amount.

Discount rate applied to item- Optional for MC, zero fill for other card types or if not supplied.

May include Item Tax Amount. Required for reduced interchange. (also required for WEX and Voyager) Mandatory for MasterCard Data Rate III and MC Corp large ticket rate. For MC if item is zero cost to customer, this field can be zero. The last two digits are implied decimal places.

Indicator used to reflect item extended amount.

Identifier of the object used for references; auto-incremented integer value.

Sales tax applied to the item If additional information is available regarding item tax amount, this field may be supplied in the XD 35 record.

Indicator used to reflect item local tax amount.

Code of Merchant Account to which instance of this object is attributed to. Depending on the context, Merchant Account Code field may contain either Merchant Code or Merchant Account Code.
The field is primarily used for data partitioning and data management, to make it easy to determine the ownership of a record within the database.

The product code of the individual item purchased. Blank filled if not used. For Fleet cards, see Page 12-59. This is found on the 40/80 Byte Purchasing Card ―XD32‖ Record

The quantity of the item purchased. This field is found on the Purchasing Card XD32 Record (40/80-Byte Formats).

Indicator used to reflect tax capture and reporting.

Required for reduced interchange. Amex purchase card level 2- space.

The unit cost of the item purchased. Four (4) decimal places are implied and can be all zeros. This is found on the 40/80 Byte Purchasing Card ―XD33‖ Record

Indicator used to reflect unit cost of item purchased.

The three (3) position measurement code or unit of measure used for this item. Blank filled if not used or not a bulk item. This is found on the 40/80 Byte Purchasing Card ―XD34‖
