Are you ready?

In this tutorial we will learn how to locate and download terminal log files for further review. This action is needed for cases when an issue occurs with a terminal device and terminal diagnostics gave no satisfying results.

We will use the following parameters:

Merchant: My First Merchant
Terminal Code: 001
Log file: Activity Log
Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Terminal Perspective.

Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.
Select an appropriate terminal in the top left section of the screen.
Click Logsbutton in the top section of the screen.
Choose Updates menu item from the list.
Locate Log Search groupbox
Select Activity Log in Log Filedropdown
Click Findbutton
Locate Log List groupbox
Click Downloadbutton
You can download a terminal log in a desirable format, which can be either a ZIP or text file.
