Are you ready?

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to change configuration for one or several terminals. Firstly, we will change configuration for one particular terminal. After this, we will learn how to change configuration for a group of terminals that are assigned to one merchant. Note that you can choose several criteria to distinguish a group of terminals that you want to modify.

We will use the following parameters:

Merchant: My First Merchant
Terminal Code: 001
Portfolio: My First Portfolio
Old Parameter: PIN Pad - Internal
New Parameter: PIN Pad - External
Firstly, let's learn how to change configuration for one particular terminal.
Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Terminal Perspective.

Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
Select appropriate Merchant and Merchant Account in the top section of the screen.
Select an appropriate terminal in the top section of the screen.
Click Parametersbutton in the top section of the screen.
Locate Terminal Settings groupbox
Select External in
Click Savebutton
Now, let's learn how to change configuration for a group of terminals.
Switch to the Management => Portfolio perspective.
Select an appropriate portfolio in the top section of the screen.
Click Equipmentbutton in the top section of the screen.
Choose Parameters menu item from the list.
Locate Hierarchy Search groupbox
Select My First Merchant in Merchantdropdown
Click Findbutton
Locate List groupbox
Click Select Allbutton to change configuration for all terminals that are assigned to the selected merchant.
Click Bulk Modifybutton
Locate Terminal Settings groupbox
Select External in
Click Savebutton
