Branding Module     Branding Profile    

1. Are you ready?
   
   In this tutorial we are going to learn how to brand different elements of a branding profile using branding of receipts as an example. For this purpose, we will create a branding profile at system level, which will be applied to all levels within the gateway (portfolio, reseller, merchant). To demonstrate how to create a unique branding profile at lower levels, we will brand receipts at portfolio level. A peculiarity of branding resources at lower levels is that the elements of a branding profile need to override the ones set at a higher level. To override settings, overriding mechanism is used. This mechanism needs to be activated while setting up a branding profile.

   We will use the following parameters:
   

   For a system level branding profile:
   Company Name: PaymentGateway
   Main Logo (Print): main-gateway.png
   Powered By (Print): powered-by-gateway.png
   Section Background: #eeeeee
   
   For a portfolio:
   Company Name: Pay Solutions Inc.
   Main Logo (Print): main-paysolutions.png
   Powered By (Print): powered-by-paysolutions.png
   Section Background: #66ffff
   
2. Firstly, let's learn how to configure a system level branding profile.
3. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Administration => System Perspective.
   
   Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
4. Click   Brandingbutton in the top right section of the screen.
5. Locate   Branding Profiles Search  groupbox
6. Locate   Owner  dropdown and choose System.
7. Click   Findbutton
8. Locate   Branding Profiles List  groupbox
9. Click   View Branding Profilebutton to view the System branding profile.

12. Enter PaymentGateway into the Company Nametextbox
13. Click Imagestab
14. Locate   Logo  groupbox
15. Locate   Powered by (Print)  textbox
16. Click   Upload Imagebutton
17. Click the Upload button and upload the main-gateway.png image from your computer.
18. Locate   Powered by (Print)  textbox
19. Click   Upload Imagebutton
20. Click the Upload button and upload the powered-by-gateway.png image from your computer.

22. Locate   Statements and Receipts  groupbox
23. Locate   Name  column and locate Section Background.
24. Click Color Pickerbutton and enter #eeeeee into the corresponding textbox. Press Enter button on your keyboard to apply the value.

25. Click   Savebutton to save changes to the branding profile.
26. Next, let's learn how to create a unique visual representation of receipts for a portfolio.
27. Switch to the Management -> Portfolio perspective.
28. Click   Portfoliodropdown in the top section of the screen and select an appropriate portfolio.
29. Click   Detailsbutton in the top right section of the screen.
30. Choose   Branding Profile  menu item  from the list.
31. To change the parameters set for the system and configure new ones for a portfolio, they need to be overridden using the overriding mechanism.
32. Click   Overridebutton to activate the overriding mechanism for the current branding profile.
33. Locate   General  tab
34. Locate   Entity  groupbox
35. Click   Enable/Disablebutton . Once the button is highlighted, a new value can be set for the corresponding field.
36. Enter Pay Solutions Inc. into the Company Nametextbox

40. Click   Enable/Disablebutton . Once the button is highlighted, a new value can be set for the corresponding field.
41. Click   Upload Imagebutton
42. Click the Upload button and upload the main-paysolutions.png image from your computer.
43. Locate   Powered by (Print)  textbox
44. Click   Enable/Disablebutton . Once the button is highlighted, a new value can be set for the corresponding field.
45. Click   Upload Imagebutton
46. Click the Upload button and upload the powered-by-paysolutions.png image from your computer.

48. Locate   Statements and Receipts  groupbox
49. Locate   Name  column and locate Section Background.
50. Click   Enable/Disablebutton . Once the button is highlighted, a new value can be set for the corresponding field.
51. Click Color Pickerbutton and enter #66ffff into the corresponding textbox. Press Enter button on your keyboard to apply the value.

52. Click   Savebutton to save changes to the branding profile.
53. If you need to create a branding profile for a particular reseller or merchant, switch to the Management -> Reseller or Management -> Merchant perspective respectively, choose the reseller or merchant that you want to set up a branding profile for and follow the steps 29-52 of this tutorial.
54. Congratulations, you are done!
