Are you ready?

In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to test your integration with the host emulator as real-time, batch and tokenization provider. For this purpose, proxy provider profile for each type of processing is used. We will configure real-time and batch profiles for emulating processing of Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover cards according to the amount ranges specified in the documentation. For tokenization, we will emulate both tokenization and detokenization modes.
We will use the following parameters:

Real-time/batch proxy profile:
Account Processing Policy: VMXD
Emulation Mode Type: Ranges

Tokenization proxy profile:
Tokenization Policy Type: Tokenization and Detokenization
Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.Note: The level at which provider profile configuration is available (merchant or account) depends on how a merchant profile is configured.
Click Detailsbutton in the top left section of the screen.
Choose Profiles menu item from the list.
Firstly, let's learn how to configure the real-time proxy profile.
Select Payment cards in Groupcolumn
Select Realtime in Typecolumn
Click Modify Provider Profilebutton next to Realtime.
Select proxy from the list of providers.
Choose modify... menu item from the list.
Locate System groupbox
Locate Active checkbox and check it off to activate the real-time proxy profile.
Select Visa, MasterCard, AmEx and Discover in Account Processing Policydropdown
Select Ranges in Emulation Mode Typedropdown
Click Savebutton
Next, let's learn how to configure the batch proxy profile.
Select Payment cards in Groupcolumn
Select Batch in Typecolumn
Click Modify Provider Profilebutton next to Batch.
Select proxy from the list of providers.
Choose modify... menu item from the list.
Locate System groupbox
Locate Active checkbox and check it off to activate the batch proxy profile.
Select Visa, MasterCard, AmEx and Discover in Account Processing Policydropdown
Select Ranges in Emulation Mode Typedropdown
Click Savebutton
Finally, let's learn how to configure the tokenization proxy profile.
Select Processing in Groupcolumn
Select Tokenization in Typecolumn
Click Modify Provider Profilebutton next to Tokenization.
Select proxy from the list of providers.
Choose modify... menu item from the list.
Locate System groupbox
Locate Active checkbox and check it off to activate the tokenization proxy profile.
Select Tokenization and Detokenization in Tokenization Policy Typedropdown
Click Savebutton
