How to handle remittance through a wire

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to make a manual deposit to a merchant. This can be done via a wire transfer and is used to send funds from the payment facilitator's account to a merchant faster than a common remittance period, which is usually 1 day for payment card and direct debit transactions and 3 days for AmEx transactions.

    We will use the following parameters:
    Check #: 123456
    Notes: Request from the merchant for day-to-day funding
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. You can make a wire transfer using the Merchant Statement List form, which is available at the following places:

    • Perspective => Console Perspective => Statements
    • Perspective => Management => Merchant Perspective => Remittance => Statements
    • Perspective => Administration => Monitoring Perspective => Statements => Merchant Statements

    You can choose any place you like.
  4. Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.
  5. Click   Remittancebutton in the top section of the screen.
  6. Choose   Statements  menu item  from the list.
  7. Locate an appropriate merchant statement. To learn how to locate a merchant statement, review a respective tutorial.
  8. Click   Process Remittance Manuallybutton next to the selected merchant statement.
  9. Enter 123456 into the Check #textbox
  10. Enter Request from the merchant for day-to-day funding into the Notestextbox
  11. Click   Processbutton . Once the wire is processed, you will be returned to the Merchant Statement List form.
