How to assign a new update version to the terminal profile

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we are going to learn how to assign a newly-added update to the update profile. For terminals, to retrieve new updates of the terminal applications, these updates should be added to the update profiles that the terminals are assigned with.

    We will use the following parameters as an example (these values are used for training purposes within this tutorial only):
    Update profile: US_VNTV
    New version: 34001
    Terminal Level: Release
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Portfolio Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Select appropriate Portfolio in the top left section of the screen.
  4. Click   Equipmentbutton
  5. Choose   Updates  menu item  from the list.
  6. Click   View Terminal Updatebutton next to the US_VNTV terminal update profile.
  7. Locate   Current  tab
  8. Click   Addbutton
  9. Locate   New Terminal Update  groupbox
  10. Enter 34001 into the Update Versiontextbox
  11. Choose Release  menu item  in Terminal Level dropdown.
  12. Locate   Models  groupbox and check iCT220, iCT250, iSC250 off.
  13. Click   Savebutton
  14. Congratulations, you are done!
