Are you ready?

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to upload a terminal update. This procedure is required if a terminal needs to be updated to the newest version.

We will use the following parameters as an example (these values are used for training purposes within this tutorial only):

Folder name for terminal updates: UPDATE
Folder name for a new update: UPDATE_2

Update profile code: US_VNTV
New update version: 34001
Upfating models: iCT220, iCT250
Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Portfolio Perspective.

Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
Click Equipmentbutton in the right top section of the screen.
Choose Repository menu item from the list.
Click on the UPDATE directory to create a new folder for the new update.
Click Directorybutton in the left bottom section of the form.
Locate Details groupbox
Enter UPDATE_2 into the Nametextbox
Click Savebutton
Now, let's upload an archive with a new update in created UPDATE_2 folder.
Click Archivebutton in the left bottom section of the form.
Now, we will add the uploaded update in the corresponding update profile.
Click Equipmentbutton in the right top section of the screen.
Choose Updates menu item from the list.
Locate List groupbox
Click View Terminal Updatebutton next to the profile with US_VNTV code.
Locate Current tab in the opened form.
Click Addbutton
Locate General groupbox in the opened form.
Enter 34001 into the Update Versiontextbox
Locate Models groupbox and check iCT220 and iCT250 off.
Click Savebutton
Click View Terminal Updatebutton next to the newly-added record in Current tab.
Locate Tasks tab
Click Batch Addbutton and select an UPDATE_2 folder.
Click Addbutton
Locate Details tab
Click Savebutton
Locate Update Version groupbox
Select 34001 in Currentdropdown
Click Savebutton
