How to attach a reseller to a merchant

Reseller     Reseller Perspective    

1. Are you ready?
   
   In this tutorial we will learn how to attach a reseller to an existing merchant or a brand new one.
   We will use the following parameters:
   

   Reseller Name: My First Reseller (created in the Creating a reseller tutorial)
   Merchant Name: My Second Merchant (created in Creating a merchant with processing settings tutorial)
   Merchant Code: MP002
   
2. You can attach a reseller to an existing merchant at the following places:
   
   

   • Reseller perspective => Merchants
   • Merchant perspective => Details

   
   Additionally, a reseller can be attached to a brand new merchant at the following places:
   
   

   • Merchant perspective => New Merchant
   • Merchant perspective => New Merchant (Extended)
3. Firstly, let's learn how to attach a reseller to an existing merchant via Reseller perspective.
4. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Reseller Perspective.
   
   Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
5. Locate     Reseller  dropdown and click on it.
6. Select My First Reseller in   Resellerdropdown
7. Click   Merchantsbutton in the top section of the screen.
8. Click   Addbutton

9. Enter MP002 into the Codetextbox.
   
   Note: It is enough to enter just one criteria, such as Name, Code, ID, etc, to find a merchant you need. If you want to find all available merchants, leave all fields empty.
10. Select My Second Merchant in Merchants Listgroupbox
11. Click   Findbutton
12. Click   Applybutton to save all changes on the form.
13. The selected merchant should now be visible on your screen.
    
    Using this form, you can modify or remove the selected merchant, as well as resend user or merchant registration info.

14. Next, let's learn how to attach a reseller to an existing merchant via Merchant perspective.
15. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.
    
    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
16. Click   Detailsbutton in the top section of the screen.
17. Choose   General  menu item  from the list.
18. Locate   Detail  groupbox
19. Select My First Reseller in Resellerdropdown

20. Click   Savebutton
21. Now, let's learn how to attach a reseller to a new merchant via New Merchant form.
22. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

23. Click   Newbutton in the top section of the screen.
24. Choose   Merchant  menu item  from the list.
25. Review Creating a merchant (basic) tutorial to configure a merchant.
26. Locate   Merchant  groupbox
27. Select My First Reseller in Resellerdropdown

29. Finally, let's learn how to attach a reseller to a new merchant via New Merchant (Extended) form.
30. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

31. Click   Newbutton in the top section of the screen.
32. Choose   Merchant (Extended)  menu item  from the list.
33. Depending on your needs, review Creating a merchant with processing settings or Creating a merchant with remittance settings tutorial to configure a merchant.

35. Locate   Hierarchy  groupbox
36. Select My First Reseller in Resellerdropdown
