How to create a new billing cycle and deactivate it

Billing    

1. Are you ready?
   
   In this tutorial we are going to learn how to create a new billing cycle and deactivate it.
   We will use the following parameters:
   

   Code: M01
   Cycle Type: Monthly
   Day: 1
   Next Billing: 05/01/2024
   Close Sales Period: 3
   
2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Console Perspective.
   
   Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
3. Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.
4. Click   Setupbutton in the top right section of the screen.
5. Choose   Billing Cycles  menu item  from the list.
6. Click   Newbutton

7. Locate   Billing Cycle  groupbox
8. Enter M01 into the Codetextbox
9. Select Monthly in Cycle Typedropdown
10. Enter 1 into the Daytextbox
11. Enter 05/01/2024 into the Next Billingdatebox
12. Select 3 in Close Sales Perioddropdown
13. When you are done, your screen should look similar to the screenshot.

14. Click   Savebutton
15. Now, we are going to learn how to deactivate a previously created billing cycle.
16. To locate a billing cycle that you want to deactivate follow the steps 3-5.
17. Locate   Billing Cycle Search  groupbox
18. Enter 10/08/14 into the Next Billingdatebox
19. Click   Findbutton

20. Locate   Billing Cycle List  groupbox and find billing cycle you need.
21. Click   Editbutton near the billing cycle you need.
22. Locate   Modify Billing Cycle  groupbox
23. Locate   General  groupbox
24. Locate   Active  checkbox and uncheck it.
25. Click   Savebutton
