Creating new terminal configuration

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we will learn how to create a new configuration for terminals.

    We will use the following parameters:
    Code: code001
    Name: Configuration001

    Update Profile: Ingenico001
    Models: ICT220, IST250, ISC250, ISC480, IWL250, IPP350
    Terminal Profile: Amount Confirmation, Cashback, Tip, CSC

    Terminal Settings
    Operation Type: Managed
    Connection: USB
    PIN Pad: Internal
    Time Zone: EST

    Connectivity Settings
    Gateway Host: your-gateway.com
    TMS Host: your-gateway.com
    Read Time Out (seconds): 60

    Offline Authorization
    Limit: 5.00
    Syncronization Time: 120

    Processing Profile
    Country Code: USA
    Currency Code: USD
    Default Industry Type: Retail

    Entry Mode Policy: Manual, Swipe, Proximity, EMV Contact, EMV Contactless

    Payment Policy: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Merchant => Fulfillment Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Click   Configurationsbutton
  4. Click   Addbutton in opened form.
  5. Locate   Details  groupbox
  6. Enter code001 into the Codetextbox
  7. Enter Configuration001 into the Nametextbox
  8. Locate   Terminal Data  groupbox
  9. Select Ingenico001 in
  10. Locate   Models  groupbox
  11. Locate   Ingenico  checkbox and select all available terminals.
  12. Locate   Terminal Profile  groupbox and select all available options.
  13. Locate   Terminal Settings  groupbox
  14. Select Managed in
  15. Select USB in
  16. Select Internal in
  17. Locate   Connectivity Settings  groupbox
  18. Enter your-gateway.com into the
  19. Enter your-gateway.com into the
  20. Enter 60 into the
  21. Locate   Processing Profile  groupbox
  22. Select Retail in
  23. Locate   Entry Mode Policy  groupbox
  24. Locate      and check it off.
  25. Locate      and check it off.
  26. Locate      and check it off.
  27. Locate      and check it off.
  28. Locate      and check it off.
  29. Locate   Payment Policy  groupbox
  30. Locate      and check it off.
  31. Locate      and check it off.
  32. Locate      and check it off.
  33. Locate      and check it off.
  34. Click   Savebutton
  35. Congratulations, you are done!
