Creating a fee processor

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we are going to learn how to create a Fee Processor, represented by a merchant that will be used for separate processing of Convenience Fees.
    We will use the following parameters:
    Accounts: Multiple
    Tax IDs: Multiple
    Descriptors: Multiple
    Deposit Accounts: Multiple
    Monthly Fees: Per Account

    Type: Fee Processor
    Name: My Fee Processor 01
    Code: FP001
    Time Zone: EST

    Contact Information:
    John Smith
    300 5th Ave
    New York, NY 10001
    john.smith@email.com
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Click   Newbutton in the top left section of the screen.
  4. Choose   Merchant  menu item  from the list.
  5. Locate   Merchant  groupbox
  6. Locate   Profile  label
  7. Click Multiple radio button for Accounts.
  8. Click Multiple radio button for Tax IDs.
  9. Click Multiple radio button for Descriptors.
  10. Click Multiple radio button for Deposit Accounts.
  11. Click Per Merchant radio button for Recurring Fees.
  12. Locate   Type  label
  13. Locate   Fee Processor  radio button and select it.
  14. Enter FP001 into the Codetextbox
  15. Enter My Fee Processor 01 into the Nametextbox
  16. Select EST in Time Zonedropdown
  17. Locate   Password  password and enter or generate password.

    Note: If you entered your own password, you have to confirm it manually in the "Confirm password" field. If you choose system generated password, it will be entered automatically.
  18. Locate   Contact Information  groupbox
  19. Enter John Smith into the Contact Nametextbox
  20. Enter 300 5th Ave into the Street 1textbox
  21. Enter New York into the Citytextbox
  22. Select New York in State/Province/Regiondropdown
  23. Enter 10001 into the Zip Code/Postal Codetextbox
  24. Enter john.smith@email.com into the Emailtextbox
  25. Click   Savebutton
  26. Congratulations, you are done!
